Technical Designer | Student at Abertay University
I'm Brandon, a student of Games Design and Production at Abertay University in Dundee, Scotland. I'm currently in my final year of a 4 year course.
During my time at Abertay I've worked on various personal and team projects, with familiarity in C#, C++ and Blueprint scripting, gaining experience in both the Unreal 5 and Unity game engine, as well as Git source control.
I love to get involved in all aspects of game development, with a keen interest in Mechanics Design and Prototyping. I'm a focused person who embraces problem solving, learning and being able to adapt to the needs of any given project.
I'm currently searching for all Graduate roles and Internships in Technical Game Design and Gameplay Programming . I'm excited to jump head first into the industry, and I'm always hungry to learn and challenge my skills in a innovative working environment.

In my 2nd year at Abertay, I participated in the Dare Academy 2023 games design competition, in which me and my team, Nervous Knight Games, successfully won a place as finalists and showcased our game Behind at EGX London. Check it out here!
Dare Academy allowed me to develop vital skills in teamwork, time management and communication, as well as allowing an opportunity for industry exposure.

During the summer of 2024 I was employed in an internship with Digital.ai, developing the game Office Raider for use as a showcase of their Application Security package.

I'm also Student Rep for Game Design and Production from 2023-2025. I help to organise events and game jams, as well as effectively communicate between students, lecturers and university staff.
On top of my university and professional work, I like to keep myself busy through playing through a wide variety of video games , from RPG's and platformers, to grand strategy and simulation games.
I'm a lover of film and TV, having particularly fallen in love with the work of the late great David Lynch through the fantastic series Twin Peaks, which I highly recommend.
I'm also a lifelong Transformers fan (my honours project was making a transformers game!) and have been keeping a collection of toys and figures for as long as I can remember, as well as a healthy stock of Gunpla.
I also have two dogs, Bonnie and Hope. Feel free to guess who is who :D
